יצא לי לשמוע על נשים שחוששות לנסות ללבוש שמלה במהלך ההריון. כמה חבל! אני מודעת לעובדה שרוב ניכר של נשים, גם כאלה שאינן בהריון, בוחרות בדרך כלל באלטרנטיבה שנראית על פניו קלה ופשוטה והיא לבישת מכנסיים וחולצה, אבל אני סבורה שזה לא חייב להיות כך... גם למי שלא רגילה להעביר את חייה בשמלות, מומלץ לנסות לפחות שמלה אחת בתקופת ההריון.
I heard about women who are afraid of wearing a dress while pregnant. What a pitty! I am certainly aware of the fact that a lot of women, also those who are not pregnant, usually choose the seemingly easier alternative which is wearing a pants and a top, but I think it doesn't always have to be like that... And for those of you who are not accustomed to wearing dresses all the time, you should really try out even just one dress during pregnancy.
דווקא בתקופה שבה גופך משתנה ומתעגל, זה בדיוק הזמן להראות את הקימורים הנשיים היפהפיים ואין כמו שמלה שתדגיש את האיכויות הנשיות וה'נכסים' השמורים לנשים בלבד, אשר רק מתעצמים ונהיים יפים עוד יותר בתקופת ההריון. קדימה, זו העת לחגוג עם עצמך ועם העולם את פלא הבריאה!
Especially when your body changes and becomes curvier, it is the perfect time to show of those beautiful womanly curves. And nothing works better in that department as a little pregnancy dress. The dress accentuates your womanly qualities and those assets that belong to women and become even more beautiful while pregnant. So come on! This is the time to celebrate with the world the wonder of creation!
לטעמי, שמלת הג'רזי המוצגת כאן היא פריט מפתח בכל מלתחה הריונית ושימושית לשעות היום כמו גם לשעות הערב (ואנחנו הרי כל כך אוהבים בגדים רב שימושיים שאפשר ללבוש מסביב לשעון!). בדיוק משום כך, החלטתי לייצר את אותו דגם במספר גוונים, כולל אלטרנטיבה אחת עם הדפס פרחוני, שמח וקייצי, כפי שאתם רואים מעלה.
For my opinion, the jersey dress presented here is a key item in every pregnant woman's wardrobe. It is very wearable, good for day and night-time too (and we do love our clothes multi puropose, don't we?). Because of that I decided to manufacture the same model in numerous colors, including one alternative in a happy floral print, very suited for summer (you can see that one above).

La Robe bleue's "Little pregnancy dress" was designed with a fetching v neck and a detail of ribbon to tie right under the chest. This dress comes, as was said above, in numerous colors which one of them is what you see above: White dress decorated with a navy fabric stripe at the bottom. The tie ribbon is also navy in this dress. Another strange myth I heard was that white is fattening and therefore not suited for pregnancy - I must protest! As you can see, Galit, our lovely model for this post, is pregnant and looks absolutely glowing, radient and very light and angelic in this beautiful white dress.
השמלה ניתנת ללבישה בשעות הבוקר כמו גם בשעות הערב - בבוקר אפשר לאבזר אותה עם סנדלים שטוחים או סנדלי פלטפורמה וכובע קש רחב שוליים (השמלה הלבנה במיוחד תיראה נפלא עם שיזוף קייצי קל ותחמיא מאוד לבעלות גוון עור שחום), בעוד שבשעות הערב ניתן לצרף לשמלה זוג נעלי עקב עדינות, תיק ערב חביב והרי את מוכנה ללכת לחתונה או לבילוי במסעדה עם חברים. השמלה ניתנת לשימוש גם להנקה, ואם ברב שימושיות עסקינן, ברור שאת השמלה הזאת אפשר (ורצוי) לשמור, ולהשתמש בה גם אחרי ההריון!
This dress is good for both day and night. In the morning you can accessorize it with flats or a pair of platforms, and add a cute wide brim hat to the outfit (the white dress will look especially great against a moderate summer tan, and will compliment those of you with darker complexion), while during the evening you can easily change to pumps, carry a cute purse and add some bangles and you are ready to go to a wedding or a nice dinner date with friends at a restaurant.
And of course you can (and should) keep the dress and also wear it after you are pregnant.
למי שמעוניינת להתגנדר עוד יותר (הידד! לכי על זה!) עיצבתי עבור הקולקציה גם שמלת הריון ערב מבד כחול שקפקף עם כיווצים בחלק העליון ודיטייל של פרחים לבנים באיזור הצוואר. השמלה הזו אולי לא תעזור למנוע את בחילות הבוקר אבל היא תגרום לך להיראות מקושטת ולבושה למשעי - וזה לא מעט...
For those of you who are searching a fancier look (Hurrah! we love fancy!) I've designed this evening pregnancy dress. It is made of sheer blue fabric with ruching at the top and detail of white flowers around the neck. This dress will probably not help you with the morning sickness but it will definitely make you look dolled up and well dressed - and that is not something to take light headedly...
