עכשיו בעודך בהריון, בוודאי שמעת על כך שמומלץ לנשים בהריון להקריא לעובר סיפורים, בעודו ברחם, להשמיע מוזיקה ולשוחח איתו. התינוק לעתיד שומע את קולך כשהוא נמצא ברחם, בצורה קצת שונה ממה שהוא נשמע לאחרים, אבל עד מהרה הוא לומד לזהות את הקול הזה כקול אימו, קולך, ולאהוב לשמוע את הקול המזוהה. ומה בדבר הקול של העובר עצמו?

Now when you're pregnant, you must have heard that it is recommended to read your baby stories, while in the womb, let it listen to music and converse with it. The baby can hear the sound of your voice from inside the womb, and learns to recognise it and like this sound. And what about the sound of your baby's voice?

טוב, לפי מה שידוע עד כה במדע המודרני (ונשמח אם תדווחו לנו בדבר עידכונים והתפתחויות) העובר לא בדיוק מדבר בעת היותו בבטנך, אבל לצורך הפוסט הנוכחי החלטנו להשתעשע בדוגמה של עובר המדבר ומשתתף, לפחות בצורה וורבלית, בשגרת יומה של אמו ההרה. יכול להיות נחמד, הממ... תינוק שמביע את דעתו, מזכיר לך דברים, מפרגן. אני בעד!

Well, as we all know thanks to modern science (and we'll be glad to hear of any updates) the fetus doesn't talk while in the womb. But, for the sake of this post we decided to play with the idea of a fetus that talks and engages, at least verbally, in his mother's daily routine. Hmmm.. this could be nice, a baby that speaks its mind, reminds you things, and compliments you. I'm all for it !

ולפני שתחשבי שנפלנו פה על הראש, במשרדי La Robe bleue, אני מבקשת לא להכחיש שלפחות פעם אחת במהלך היותך בהריון הזמנת / אכלת / הכנת / סינג'רת את בן זוגך שיביא איזשהוא משקה או מאכל הריוני-אקזוטי (סטייל מלפפונים חמוצים בזיגוג קרם שוקולד), בתואנה שהתינוק ביקש את זה... לא??! אז כנראה שעובר כן תיקשר איתך בדרך כלשהי...

And before you think we have totally lost our minds here at La Robe bleue's offices, I ask you not to deny at least one occasion during your pregnancy in which you ordered / ate / prepared / asked your partner to get you some kind of ecsotic-pregnancy drink or dish (such as pickles with chocolate glazing), under the excuse that the baby asked for it... So I guess the fetus did communicate with you in some way...

In the photos above Galit is wearing a dark skinny jean, in a flattering cut, with a red-white striped tank. This is the easiest and most wearable outfit, made of soft fabrics in high quality. Just put it on, accessorize a bit and you are good to go! (together with the talking baby...)

אלטרנטיבה נוספת, קז'ואלית וקייצית היא שילוב הטוניקה המתרחבת ומכנסי הקפרי של La Robe bleue. שני הדגמים הללו באים גם הם במבחר צבעים והטוניקה נקשרת בסרט קטן ומתוק באיזור החזה וגם מאפשרת הנקה, לשלב שאחרי ההריון - הטוניקה הזאת יכולה להיות שימושית כאשר התינוק כבר מדבר באמת, למרות שאם הוא פונה אליך במשפט: "אמא, ציצי, אני רעב!" זה כנראה זמן טוב להעביר אותו מחלב אם לסטייקים...

Another alternative, both casual and good for summer is the combination of the Capri pant with the tunic. התינוק!) ושיהיה לכולכן קיץ נפלא!

רב שימושיות

אז כפי שניתן לראות, אני ממשיכה במתכונת הבטן המלאכותית, אבל הפעם המטרה היא לא להתל בכם או להשתעשע (או לקבל הקלות בעמידה בתור בסופרמרקט - למרות שזה ממש נחמד), אלא להמחיש בדרך זו נקודה מעניינת וחשובה. כאמור, חוויתי כבר הריון בעברי ועל אף שהחוויה שונה מאישה לאישה אני חושבת שהרבה מכן תוכלנה להסכים איתי שהחזרה לשגרה או לגזרה של לפני ההריון לוקחת זמן.

לא כולנו כמו היידי קלום אשר 6 שבועות בלבד אחרי הלידה עלתה בקלילות על מסלול התצוגות ועוד בהלבשה תחתונה. עם כל הכבוד, ויש כבוד, לחלקנו לוקח יותר זמן לחזור לקימורים הישנים. וכמה נחמד שאפשר לעשות את זה בבגדי ההריון הנוחים והנעימים שהתרגלנו אליהם בתשעת החודשים האחרונים. או ליתר דיוק הבגדים הרב שימושיים שיכולים לשמש אותך בהריון וגם ממש לא בהריון, כמו שמלת המיני הזו בעלת שרוולי העטלף השקפקפים מבד מוסלין מודפס ואוורירי.(קיים גם בשחור צרוב ,מעט שקפקף...אך לא יותר מידי).

ישנן גזרות מסוימות ובדים אשר דורשים עיצוב מיוחד לנשים בהריון ולשם כך יש לי קו מיוחד לבגדי הריון, אך ישנם פריטים רב שימושיים שייראו מצוין על אישה בהריון וגם על כזו שאינה בהריון. אני מאמינה גדולה בקונספט של רב- שימושיות וחושבת שחלק מבגדי הריון לא חייבים לקבל עיצוב מיוחד שיבדל אותם מהבגדים הרגילים (מלבד העובדה שהם כמובן צריכים להתאים לבטן המתעגלת ולגזרה המשתנה). וכמובן שלא יעוצבו כאוהלים שתכליתם להסתיר ולכסות כמה שיותר. חלילה וחס. אנחנו בשנות האלפיים!

אגב, כולם יודעים שלפני שש שנים בערך, החלו לחדור לאופנת הנשים גזרות של איי ליין מתרחבות, טוניקות דמויות בייבי דול ועוד דגמים שנשים בהריון יכולות ללבוש ולרכוש ברשתות הרגילות, שלא נדבר על מותגי על.זכורה לי שמלה יפיפיה בצבע מייקאפ של מיו מיו שמדדתי באיטליה , סוג של "אוהל" מדהים בסריגה שנראית ידנית...

היא חזרה איתי לפריז. (חזרתי ארצה רק לפני 4 שנים..)

משום כך עיצבתי כמה דגמים שניתנים ללבישה בשתי האופציות ואת הטוניקה הזו אני לובשת בעצמי, כשאני לא מסתובבת עם הבטן המלאכותית - שזה רוב הזמן... לטוניקה צירפתי שרשרת של מאסימו דוטי, צעיף של La Robe bleue (בתמונה הראשונה), גרביונים שחורים ומגפיים של Michel Perry (זה לא גברת, זה אדון) שקניתי לפני כמה שנים וחביבים עלי מאוד. התיק של Francesco Biasia והשעון הוא שעון קרטייה שקיבלתי במתנה לכבוד הולדתו של בני המתוק, אם בהריון ובלידות עסקינן.

בקיצור, לא צריך להתבייש ללבוש את בגדי ההריון גם לאחר ההריון, כי כאמור, לא מדובר בבגדי ההריון של פעם והם מחמיאים ושיקיים כמו כל בגד אחר.

לפני ואחרי. תראו כמה מהר חזרתי לגיזרה הישנה והטובה...

Multi purpose

So as you can see, I am wearing the fake belly again! This time the purpose is not to fool you guys or to have fun (although getting ahead in line at the supermarket is a pretty nice perk), it is in order to make an interesting and important point. As you know, I have already experienced pregnancy, and although the experience varies from woman to woman I think most of you can agree with me when I say it takes time to get back to your old shape and routine.

Not all of us are like Heidi Klum, which only 6 weeks (!!) after giving birth strut her stuff on the runway, wearing lingerie, nonetheless. With all do respect, it takes longer for most of us to get back to our good old curves. And think how nice it is to ease back into your old shape while you continue wearing your chic maternity clothes. Or your chic "multi purpose garments", like this tunic featuring printed sheer fabric sleeves (also available in black semi-sheer bat sleeves).

There are certain silhuettes and fabrics which require a special design for pregnant women, and therefore I design a separate maternity line. But there are also multi purpose garments which will look great on a non-pregnant woman as they will look on a pregnant one. I am a great believer in the multi purpose concept and think that some maternity garments should not be designed differently in order to seperate them from the 'normal garments' (other than the fact that they should fit your curving body). And they definitely should not be designed as tents or clothes that are supposed to cover as much as possible. Absolutely not! this is the year 2009 (almost 2010)...

By the way, I guess most of you know that about six years ago A silhuettes became popular in maternity wear, also popular became the baby-doll like tunics that pregnant women can also find in the major fashion stores and lables and in designer boutiques.
I remember a beautiful taupe dress by Miu Miu which I tried on while I was in Italy, beautifuly hand knitted, which of course came back with me to Paris (and I returned to Israel only 4 years ago...)

And that is why I have designed a few garments which are wearable both pregnant and not pregnant (this tunic is included among those garments). I am wearing with it a Massimo Dutti necklace, La Robe bleue scarf, black leggings and these awesome Michel Perry boots which I absolutely love. Holding a Francesco Biasia bag and also wearing a Cartier watch which was given to me as a present for the birth of my beloved son - as long as we're still on the 'giving birth' topic.

So, as you can see, you don't have to be ashamed for wearing your maternity clothes after giving birth, because, as I mentioned before, these are not the old maternity clothes (back in the day clothes) and they are flattering and chic, as any other chic garment!
